How to lose weight? The alkaline diet.

How to lose weight? The alkaline diet.

This is not a diet, but rather a fundamentally new approach to the formation of a daily diet, which can help to part with an uncomfortable weight in a fairly short time.

Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen, and Kirsten Dunst were among the first to talk about the alkaline diet. They called the new approach to nutrition the secret of their slimness, perfect skin, and inexhaustible energy.

Nutritionists Vicki Edgson and Natasha Corret developed the system. And not at all for weight loss! The “diet” was intended for people with a problematic gastrointestinal tract to normalize acidity to return the pH balance of the body to normal: from 7.35 to 7.45. However, the “side” effect of such a nutrition system was appetite stabilization, better absorption of nutrients, and weight loss to the norm, provided that the diet is followed for six months or more.

And now it is a little theory. Each product gives an acidic or alkaline reaction during digestion. If the balance provided by nature between the acid level and alkali in the body is disturbed, all systems begin to work intermittently. Poor digestion, dull complexion, bad mood, loss of energy, and fatigue – and all because your diet is not balanced.

The diet essence is incredibly simple. It is necessary to make a daily diet so that 80% of the products in it are with alkaline properties, and only 20% are acidic.

According to the creators, if you exclude salt, sugar, and alcohol from the diet, the effect will be greater, and it will manifest itself faster. But if this thought is unbearable to you, don’t worry — it should work like this.

Alkaline foods (eat as much as you want!):

  • fresh natural milk;
  • black yeast-free bread;
  • bananas;
  • spinach;
  • leaf and cabbage salads;
  • celery;
  • arugula;
  • nuts;
  • any kind of cabbage;
  • any cereal;
  • vegetables (pumpkin, carrots, beets, turnips, cucumbers, squash, corn, Jerusalem artichoke, sweet pepper);
  • fruits (raspberries, watermelon, dates, mangoes, pears);
  • unrefined vegetable oil.

Acidic foods (the less, the better!):

  • alcohol;
  • lemonade, sweet carbonated drinks;
  • black tea;
  • pork;
  • beef;
  • turkey;
  • chicken;
  • baking, white bread;
  • white rice, buckwheat, oats;
  • grape;
  • dried fruits;
  • corn;
  • mayonnaise;
  • butter;
  • eggs;
  • yogurt, cottage cheese;
  • potatoes of any kind, except “in uniform”;
  • tofu;
  • mushrooms;

Vegetarians will especially appreciate this diet. But we remind meat eaters that you can eat products from the “acidic” list, just without disturbing the balance of 20% to 80%. With such a sparing diet, the stars could lose up to 4-5 kg in a month – looking at the slim Victoria Beckham. I find that very easy to believe.
